We developed ZEST as a food format designed to fill a gap in Swedish media: a show that blends gastronomy with cultural fluency and represents the diverse reality of modern Sweden. By bringing chefs, artists, entrepreneurs and cultural profiles to the same table, Zest turned food into a lens for identity, storytelling and shared experience, positioning culinary culture as part of today’s popular culture.

The food and drinks were always quality, but the stories and the mix gave it soul. Sweden has plenty of food content, but most of it looks the same. We wanted Zest to taste like the Sweden we actually live in, loud, diverse and honest.”
